"Gate to Nowhere":

Wispy clouds float through the blue skies, over the green California hills, studded with oak trees. A wooden gate stands open in a crumbling adobe wall. A crow, messenger between worlds, perches on the Spanish tile roof. In the foreground, flowering cactus and orange California poppies complete the scene. This somewhat surreal landscape, from the Rio-Caledonia Adobe in San Miguel (central California), is an original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" staple-free sides are finished off in brown acrylic) and can be hung with just a nail. It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors. The copyright watermark does not appear on the actual painting.

This piece is also offered as an open edition giclée print.

That's a strange co-incidence Laura, I uploaded " Road to Everywhere" just this morning before I even knew your site existed.

Have a quick peek if you've the time. your work is very evokative and surreal. Like!
