New handmade necklace (I'm keeping this one :-)).
Necklace I created for my upcoming birthday. The image is from one of my favorite paintings that sold quite a few years ago now. The pendant is also available from my website, or, if you would like a beaded one similar to this, email me.
Please visit my online art gallery to see my paintings and handmade art jewelry.
Working in styles both traditional and visionary, my primary theme is to
express the soul of Nature. I have been painting most of my life. I am a
native Californian and much of my inspiration comes from the beautiful
natural landscape of the San Francisco Bay Area...the woods, the ocean,
the rolling hills, the native wildflowers and wildlife. Even the surreal
tree branches in the Zen series are often taken from the gnarled old
oak trees I see on my walks. Other inspirations include Rumi's poetry, ghosts and the paranormal, books, teapots (I am a
tea addict) and animals, especially cats.
